PNXIiii – More Short Ones

Like all good Prog PNXI had multiple parts numbered i,ii and iii. Again existing in the ‘new normal’ of the virtual realm, the fun and frivolities started nice and early with Flat Sky’s ground (and system) breaking forays into Voice Changing Software. The Bernard Bresslaw voice was frankly perfect!

Fezzing time produced a crazy statistic – UT first out of the Fez Of Choosing for all three parts of PNXI and I’ve just been informed that that has never happened before! Truly the SCPC mission to boldly go continues apace even under ‘lockdown conditions’.

So here we are then –

UT – Jean Michel Jarre ‘Zoolook’

PC – Kraftwerk ‘Radioactivity’

FS – Nektar ‘ A Tab In The Ocean’

Since it was the final part of PNXI and weirdly all the albums chosen were ‘short’ (38 minutes being the rather surprising norm) we had room for one more……

FS – The Future Sound Of London ‘Cascade’

I’ve gotta say the headphone experience really came into its own this time round as the electronic nature of most of the choices led to some gloriously huge vastnesses and spaced out noises.

Suffice to say it was brought to the table – the bar continues to be raised – long may it continue!

Until next time……..
